The Voice: Anchor Bay area Veteran business owner help’s out man’s best friend
Steve Warren is the owner of JDog Junk Removal & Hauling Anchor Bay, part of a national franchise owned by veterans and military family members. On March 7, he donated 20 bales of straw to C.H.A.I.N.E.D. Inc., a nonprofit organization that works to enhance the lives of dogs that are chained 24/7 by providing supplies, services and owner education.

Steve Warren is a U.S. Army veteran and owner of JDog Junk Removal & Hauling Anchor Bay. He’s also a dog lover who shows it by helping man’s best friend. One of the groups he supports is C.H.A.I.N.E.D, which works mainly in Southwest Detroit and the downriver suburbs. He and his wife also work with a group called Dog Aid.

After years of long days and multiple deployments overseas, Theodore Proia was in search of a fresh start. Proia, an Elkridge resident, was looking for a new line of work that would allow him to spend more time with his family while keeping the mission of service to others alive. In November, he found his answer: Proia, 33, opened JDog Junk Removal & Hauling in Elkridge, bringing the nationwide franchise to Howard County.
